Mercersburg blanked visiting Abington Friends School (Jenkintown, PA) 7-0 November 3 in the first round of the Commonwealth Cup division of the PAISAA boys' soccer tournament.

The Blue Storm controlled the action throughout the game, but did not get on the scoreboard until Dylan Stiffler '24 scored with twelve minutes left in the first half.  Jaekwan Kim '26 added a goal five minutes later to give Mercersburg a 2-0 lead at the break. The floodgates opened in the second half as the Blue Storm added five more goals with Christian Concordia '24, Ewan McDowell '27, Chris Carbone '26, and Kevin Malo '24 each scoring once and Stiffler adding a second goal.

Next up for the #3 Blue Storm (7-7-3 overall) is a semifinal matchup at #2 Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA) on Tuesday, November 7. The teams played to a 4-4 tie earlier this season.
