The Blue Storm boys' varsity soccer team defeated Mid-Atlantic Prep League foe Blair Academy 3-1 in a game played on Steiger Field October 15.

Mercersburg scored all three goals in the first half, and then held on as the Buccaneers applied the pressure in the second half and scored a late goal to narrow the final margin. Seniors Miles Maggioncalda '23, Ken Akiyama '23, and Chuks Ugori '23 provided the leadership and the scoring as the Blue Storm won its second straight MAPL contest. Head coach Peter Kallin noted, "Fantastic energy on our part today."

Mercersburg (4-3-4 overall, 2-1 MAPL) travels to Highland View Academy (Hagerstown, MD) for its next match on Tuesday, October 18 at 5 p.m.
