Mercersburg defeated visiting Peddie 1-0 in a Mid-Atlantic Prep League boys' varsity soccer game October 22.

Miles Maggioncalda '23 scored the lone goal midway through the first half with an assist from Dylan Stiffler '24. The action was back and forth for much of the contest with Peddie applying a lot of pressure during the last twenty minutes. Augie Bennett '24 made some outstanding saves to preserve the shutout victory.

Head coach Peter Kallin commented, "We played with strong energy for much of the game, and stayed strong and compact defensively to pull out the win!"

The Blue Storm (6-3-4 overall, 3-1 MAPL) is on a five game unbeaten streak, and will host Cumberland Valley Christian School (Chambersburg, PA) on Tuesday, October 24 at 4:15 p.m.
