Mercersburg defeated Benedictine Schools of Richmond (VA) 79-63 in the Mercersburg Turkey Tip-Off Tournament November 23.

Five players reached double figures as the Storm's balanced attack took down the Cadets. Mercersburg jumped out to a 10-point lead after the first period and extended it to 19 at halftime. Benedictine went on a couple of runs in the second half to get within 10-12 points, but the Storm responded each time and brought home the victory.

Thaddeus Lee '25 led Mercersburg with 16 points, followed by Josiah Wright '25 with 14, Camden Weyforth '27 with 13, Chris Ametepe '25 with 12, and Kellen Greene '28 with 10.

Now 1-1, the Storm will play one more game in their home tournament, taking on Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD) on Sunday, November 24 at 3:15 pm.
