Mercersburg defeated host Washington high school (Charles Town, WV) 6-1 in a boys' varsity tennis match April 2.

The Storm swept the singles and took two of the three doubles matches to secure the team win. Max Zhang '26 came out on top at #1 singles by a score of 8-3 with Simon Brennan '26 victorious at #2 (8-6), Oscar Su '25 at #3 (8-2) and Michael Zhang '26 at #4 (8-0). Su and Michael Zhang won their #2 doubles match by default while Daniel Liu '25 and Khanh Nguyen '25 cruised to an 8-2 victory at #3.

Now 1-1 on the season, Mercersburg will host Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ) on Saturday, April 5 at 1 pm.
