Boys' V Tennis Dominates Kiski
Mercersburg defeated visiting Kiski (Saltsburg, PA) 8-1 in a boys' varsity tennis match played at the Smoyer Tennis Center April 24.
The Storm swept five of the six singles matches in straight sets and played well in doubles also. The match of the day (in the words of head coach Matt Behler) was the 8-4 victory for Max Zhang '26 and Simon Brennan '26 at #1 doubles. Coach Behler also pointed out that Peter Shi '27 (6-2, 6-4) and Oscar Su '25 (6-1, 6-4) continue to play winning tennis.
Next up for the 4-5 Storm is a home rematch with Washington high school (Charles Town, WV) on Thursday, April 25 at 4:30 pm. Mercersburg defeated the Patriots 6-3 back on April 10.
