Mercersburg’s boys’ varsity lacrosse team fell to host Spring Mills High School, 15-5, in the Blue Storm’s 2022 season opener, which was played March 29 in Martinsburg, WV.

Frank Cantera ’23 and Aidan Kirkman ’22 scored two goals apiece, while Ben Rihn ’22 contributed a single goal.

Chris LaBolle ’23, Owain Herbert ’23, and Jordan Yuan ’24 (in goal, playing in just his second lacrosse game) put in solid defensive efforts.

Mercersburg (0-1) takes on Mid-Atlantic Prep League foe Blair Academy in the Storm’s home opener Saturday, April 2 (1:30 p.m.). The game is the first of four straight home contests for the team.
