Mercersburg defeated visiting Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA) 62-49 February 21 to win the Commonwealth Cup Division of the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletics Association boys' basketball tournament.

The Storm defeated Kiski 66-48 a few weeks ago, but the Cougars put up a strong fight in the rematch, leading 23-22 at halftime and trailing by just two points (42-40) entering the fourth quarter. But Mercersburg pulled away in the final period with Josiah Wright '25 and Thaddeus Lee '25 combining for 17 of the Storm's 23 points in the last eight minutes. Mercersburg also hit eight of ten free throws in the fourth to seal the victory. Wright finished with a team-high 23 points while Lee had 17 and Cam Weyforth '27 added 11. 

The victory was the third straight to end the season for the Storm, and they wound up with a final record of 13-13.
