After rallying to tie the game and force overtime, Mercersburg ran out of steam and lost to the Hill School 60-55 February 10 in the semifinals of the Mid-Atlantic Prep League boys' basketball tournament. This year the tournament is being hosted by the Hun School in Princeton, NJ.

Just 11 days earlier, the Storm handed Hill its only MAPL loss of the season, and they threatened to make it #2 with the furious comeback. Hill led 48-36 with 5:11 to play, but Mercersburg outscored the Blues 13-1 down the stretch to send the game to overtime. Hill converted several clutch free throws and made enough plays to get the victory. Erik Oliver-Bush '24 led Mercersburg with 22 points while Josiah Wright '25 had 13 and Bryson Brown '24 chipped in 11.

Mercersburg will host Phelps School (Malvern, PA) on Tuesday, February 13 for Senior Night. Game time is 5:30 pm.
