Mercersburg defeated host Shipley School (Bryn Mawr, PA) 69-56 in a boys' varsity basketball game January 11.

The game was close most of the way with the Storm holding just a six-point lead at the end of the first, second, and third periods. But in the final quarter, Mercersurg outscored the Gators 18-11 to pull away and secure the victory. Thaddeus Lee '25 led all scorers with 24 points while Josiah Wright '25 scored 16 and Cam Wayforth '27 added 12.

The Storm is now 7-6 with an upcoming trip to Annapolis, MD on Sunday, January 12 to take on the U.S. Naval Academy Prep Team.
