Mercersburg lost to host Bedford County CIA (Everett, PA) 47-34 in a boys' JV basketball game February 9.

Bedford enjoyed a huge advantage at the free throw line, as the Blue Storm was whistled for 15 team fouls in the second half alone, and lost two starters who fouled out. Arnav Rao '26 provided a huge spark off the bench, as did Sam Zhao '24, who hit a three-pointer and went 2-2 from the line. Deran Shippy '25 was once again the leading scorer with 8 points while Simon Brennan '26 added 6 on two three-pointers.

Mercersburg takes a 7-5 record into its final game, a road match at Hill (Pottstown, PA) on Saturday, February 18 at 12:30 pm.
