Mercersburg finished seventh in the boys' golf MAPL Championship, which was held at Beden's Brook Golf Course in Skillman, NJ April 30.

"Leading the way for the Storm was Miles New '27 with a rock solid 83" said head coach Doug Smith. "Captain Ryan Kothari '25 had a great rebound round with an 85. Next in line was Cameron Gierasch '26 who shrugged off a very difficult start to fight his way to an 86.  Stewart Allan '27 and Jackson McLear completed the scoring with an 89 and a 92 respectively."

"The team as a whole did not show great today," coach Smith added. "We are still young and building and we have to learn from marquee events such as these. We are all 4-5 strokes better than these scores on our day. Work to be done but this team has it in them."

The Storm concludes its season at the Freeman Memorial Tournament, which will be held at the Bayside Resort Golf Club in Selbyville, DE on Saturday, May 3 at noon.
