Boys' Cross Country Second at Fairfax Invitational
Mercersburg finished second out of eight teams at the Fairfax (VA) High School Invitational boys' cross country meet October 14. The event took place at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax.
Winston Watkins '25 was a top-five medalist by finishing third in a time of 17:43 while Bryson Brown '24 finished just out of the medals in sixth (18:26). Cole Smith '23 took 11th in a time of 18:50 with Jake Cruikshank '24 six seconds behind in 12th. Dawson Hastings '23 rounded out the scoring with a time of 19:58 that was good for 22nd place.

Mercersburg competes in the MAPL Championship race on Wednesday, October 26 in Princeton, NJ and the PAISAA State Championship three days later.
