John Blanco '23 gave up just two hits and struck out eight in five shutout innings as Mercersburg defeated Linsly School (Wheeling, WV) 10-0 on day two of the Reisner-Gift Invitational Baseball Tournament.

The Blue Storm only managed four hits of their own, but took advantage of walks and defensive miscues to push 10 runs across the plate. Gavin Williams '25 had two of the four hits including an RBI triple, and Blanco, Arjun Patel '23, and Matt Archibald '23 each drove in two runs.

The win was the fourth straight for Mercersburg, bringing their season record to 5-3. Next up is a visit to Hagerstown, MD on Tuesday, April 11 to take on Saint James at 4:30 pm.
