Blair Academy scored the first 20 points of the game and went on to defeat Mercersburg 68-33 in the championship game of the Mid-Atlantic Prep League girls' basketball tournament, played in Mercersburg February 12.

Blair has now won twelve consecutive MAPL titles, but they looked vulnerable in their semi-final against Hill, trailing by 14 at half before rallying for the win. In the final, they wanted to leave no doubt, and had their foot on the gas from the opening tip. The Blue Storm settled in and played well after the initial onslaught, but Blair was simply too strong. The Blair boys' team also won the title, giving the Bucs five straight years of Double MAPL Championships.

Annie Mohr '26 led Mercersburg with 9 points while Rachel Hull '23 had 7 and Madison Goodhart '24 added 6.
