Mercersburg fell to host Blair twice on April 2 in a Mid-Atlantic Prep League softball doubleheader.

The Blue Storm ran into a buzzsaw pitcher in game one with Ava Guzic '25 coming up with the only hit of the game in a 10-0 loss. In the second game, Mercersburg rapped out 10 hits, but could not put them together in the right combination as they managed only one run in a 12-1 defeat. Pritz Pritzker '25 collected three hits in the second game while Stevie Keck '26 and Kam Jenkins '26 had two each (both doubles for Jenkins). Yael Hochberg '25 drove in Guzic with the only run of the game on an infield single. Quin Caretti '24 went the distance on the mound in game one and pitched five innings in the second contest before Avallina Orfield '25 came on to pitch the final two frames.

Next up for Mercersburg (1-4 overall, 0-4 MAPL) is a home game against the Friends School of Baltimore on Thursday, April 6 at 4:30 pm.
