Mercersburg won its fifth straight varsity baseball game with a 21-9 win over host Saint James (Hagerstown, MD) April 11.

The Blue Storm rapped out 17 hits and drew 11 walks in a game shortened to five innings due to the 10-run rule. John Blanco '23 led the hit parade with four hits including two doubles and a triple and he also scored three runs. Ryan MacInnis '23, Dawson Hastings '23, Matt Archibald '23, and Augie Bennett '24 collected two hits each with MacInnis and Archibald driving in three runs apiece. Bennett, Feilix Kreis '24 and Miles Maggioncalda '23 shared the pitching duties and gave up just one hit in five innings, but walks and hit batsmen allowed the Saints to push across some runs.

Next up for Mercersburg (6-3) is a trip to Saltsburg, PA to take on Kiski in a Centennial Cup showdown on Friday, April 14 at 4:30 pm.
