Mercersburg hung tough against #1 seed and host Malvern Prep but lost 2-1 in the PAISAA baseball quarterfinals May 21.

The Storm scored a run in the top of the first on a sacrifice fly by Brodie Collins '24 and made that run hold up until the fourth inning. Gavin Williams '25 gave up just one hit in the first three innings, but the Friars put together three singles and a sacrifice bunt to score their two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Augie Bennett '24 had two of Mercersburg's three hits and Williams wound up giving up just five hits and one walk as he went the whole way on the mound.

Mercersburg ends its season with a final record of 13-9.
