Hun edged Mercersburg 7-6 in game one and then exploded for a 15-0 victory in game two to sweep a Mid-Atlantic Prep League baseball doubleheader played in Mercersburg March 26.

The Blue Storm jumped on top in game one by manufacturing three runs in the first three innings without the benefit of a hit. Meanwhile, starting pitcher Matt Archibald '23 struck out nine of first ten batters he faced before Hun picked up a run in the fourth. The Raiders then scored in each of the next three innings to build a 7-3 lead, but the Blue Storm rallied to get within one as Caleb Newcomer '23 doubled in a run to make it 7-6 in the bottom of the seventh. Unfortunately, Mercersburg couldn't push the tying run across and the game ended 7-6. In game two, the Hun bats exploded for 15 runs on 9 hits in just two innings to end the game early due to the 15-run rule.

Mercersburg (1-2 overall, 0-2 MAPL) visits Highland School (Warrenton, VA) on Wednesday, March 29 at 4:30 pm.
