13 Future College Athletes Choose Destinations

Thirteen additional student-athletes in Mercersburg Academy’s Class of 2022 announced May 4 their college destinations and their intention to compete in their respective sports at the college level beginning in the fall.

The destinations include institutions that are members of the NCAA’s Division I and Division III and are spread across locations from Massachusetts to Texas.

The group joins classmates and fall signees Bridget Ahlgren ’22 (girls’ lacrosse, Campbell University) and Foday Bangura ’22 (boys’ soccer, Villanova University) to bring the number of Mercersburg’s graduating seniors committed to the college-athletic ranks to 15.

Commencement for the school’s Class of 2022 is set for Saturday, May 28.
