Mercersburg is one of a handful of prep schools across the nation to partner with the United States Naval Academy in a program that allows students enrolling at the Naval Academy to spend a year at Mercersburg as postgraduate students before heading to Annapolis. Mercersburg’s graduating Class of 2022 included 11 students headed to Annapolis, West Point, or the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
In addition to these stories, the latest magazine includes features on faculty and staff retirees, including Tom Thorne, a member of the language department since 1993, and Wells Gray, a member of the arts department since 1999.

Mercersburg Academy magazine is an eight-time recipient of the CASE District II Accolades Award for independent-school magazines. (CASE is the international association for advancement and communications professionals in education; District II includes six states in the Mid-Atlantic region and the District of Columbia, as well as portions of Canada and the Caribbean.)
