Girls’ V Squash Gets Past Bryn Mawr

Mercersburg’s girls’ varsity squash team defeated a short-handed squad from visiting Bryn Mawr School by a score of 7-2 December 7 at the Davenport Squash Center.  

At the bottom of the ladder, Jamie Hyung ’23 (#8) and Sam Gerstel ’22 (#9) came up with their first wins of the season. Hisano Enomoto ’25 (#7), Camille Smith ’22 (#4), and Greta Lawler ’23 (#3) played more consistent squash than their opponents, consistently pushing them to the back of the court. At #1 and #2, Indira Moshi ’24 and Martina Vega Calero ’23 continued their winning ways, dominating play in their matches.
