Girls’ V Squash Defeats Shady Side

Mercersburg’s girls’ varsity squash team picked up a hard-fought 7–2 win over host Shady Side Academy January 22 in Pittsburgh.

“With three of the matches going to five games, it was closer than the score indicates,” said Blue Storm head coach Mike Sweeney. “Outstanding performances by Indira Moshi ’24 and Martina Vega Calero ’23 led the way for us.”
