Holden Walker ’23 kicking off for the Mercersburg football team

Seven different Mercersburg athletic teams began their fall 2021 campaigns Saturday, September 11. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the contests marked the first interscholastic competition for fall Blue Storm squads since 2019. (The teams held intersquad competitions on campus in fall 2020.)

Three teams (girls’ varsity tennis, girls’ varsity soccer, and boys’ varsity soccer) began their seasons at home, with the other four squads (varsity volleyball, girls’ cross country, football, and boys’ JV soccer) hitting the road.

Parents of players on the four teams traveling to off-campus venues should have received an email message with updated information about spectator policies at their respective venues. (Contact Interim Director of Athletics Lauren Jacobs with questions at jacobsL@mercersburg.edu.)
