The Mercersburg Academy Class of 2020 had an extraordinary year for college and university matriculation—a true credit to their abilities, their hard work, and the college counseling process. While Mercersburg has always had strong matriculation lists, the Class of 2020 was noticeably impressive, with 82 institutions in the lineup.
All told, the seniors received 543 acceptance offers from 240 colleges and universities. Seventy percent of the Class of 2020 were accepted at a U.S. News & World Report Top 50 National University or a Top 50 Liberal Arts College, and 93 percent were accepted to a Barron’s “Most Competitive” or “Highly Competitive” college or university.
