New Dining Center

Dining Center in Ford Hall

Serving Our Family

At Mercersburg, we partner with FLIK Independent School Dining to provide a fresh, nutritious, and delicious dining experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our menus are crafted with student input in mind, offering a wide variety of options that cater to different tastes, preferences, and dietary needs. Whenever possible, ingredients are locally sourced and meals are prepared from scratch, ensuring both quality and sustainability.

Servery

A cherished tradition at our school is the practice of family-style dining. Weekday lunches and Monday evening semiformal dinners are shared at assigned tables, where students and faculty come together for a meal. These table groups rotate every few weeks, encouraging community building and giving students the chance to connect with a broad mix of classmates and teachers.

A Fresh Take on Dining

Since 1965, Ford Hall has been the heart of campus life—hosting everything from family-style meals and semiformal dinners to alumni events and school dances. While it’s served us well, today’s students have different needs and tastes, with a growing interest in healthy, diverse, and inclusive dining options.

Our reimagined dining center will honor Ford Hall’s legacy while evolving into a modern hub for nourishment, connection, and learning. The renovated space will feature improved kitchen technology, expanded seating, and inviting areas for studying, socializing, or simply enjoying the view. With a focus on wellness, sustainability, and community, dining at Mercersburg will become more than a meal—it will be an experience.
