Community Engagement

Mercersburg students stocking shelves at a local food pantry

Community service is a valued component of the Mercersburg experience, and all students participate in giving back to the local community.

Through Mercersburg Academy’s experiential education program, the Academy has established Community Engagement as an organized, designated activity available to students during each academic term. Many students participate in at least one community-service project each year, and the results are notable. Mercersburg has a number of relationships with organizations in our local community. Take a peek at some of our active service projects.

Not only do you and your classmates work, have fun, and develop lifelong skills, but you also know at the end of the day that you’ve made a positive impact on your community.
