Community Engagement

Mercersburg students stocking shelves at a local food pantry

Community service is a valued component of the Mercersburg experience, and it is open to all students to participate.

Mercersburg Academy has established Community Engagement as an organized, designated afternoon activity (Performance Group Activity) available to students during each academic term. Many students participate in at least one community-service project each year (some do more!), and the results are notable. Mercersburg has a number of relationships with organizations in our local community. Take a peek at some of our active service projects.

Not only do you and your classmates work, have fun, and develop lifelong skills, but you also know at the end of the day that you've made a positive impact on your community.
