Boys’ Swimming Races Past Kiski

Mercersburg’s boys’ swim team kept its all-time dual meet record against visiting Kiski School perfect with a 105-31 win over the Cougars January 17 in the Lloyd Aquatic Center.

Jonah Harm ’20 (200 freestyle, 1:44.97/100 free, 48.11), Alex Edwards ’21 (200 individual medley, 1:55.06/100 breaststroke, 1:02.02), Peem Pibuldham ’22 (50 free, 22.30), Andrew Yuen ’21 (100 butterfly, 53.67/500 free, 5:30.59), and Teddy Blake ’23 (100 backstroke, 57.60) won individual events. The team's two relays also swam fastest, with the 200 medley relay squad of Mason Green ’23, Charlton Schaner ’22, Pibuldham, and Clark Bayer ’22 posting a 1:46.15 and the 400 free relay of Tristan Russell ’21, Pibuldham, Jake Thompson ’22, and Luke Thompson ’20 finishing in 3:30.12.
