Boys’, Girls’ Cross Country Teams Win Crosstown Showdown

Mercersburg’s cross country squads both earned head-to-head victories with in-town foe James Buchanan High School October 9. The Blue Storm girls edged out the Rockets for a one-point win (28-29), with the Storm boys winning by a 23-32 score.

Addie Geitner ’21 (girls) and Aakash Koduru ’20 (boys) were individual winners for Mercersburg; Geitner’s 21:04 led the way in the girls’ race, with Koduru running 17:07 to place first in the boys’ race.
