Basketball - Girls - Varsity

Mercersburg won its first state championship in girls’ basketball in 2016, capturing the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletic Association title and setting a school record for wins in a season (19).

The girls’ basketball program trains and competes on the Plantz Courts, a 10,000 square foot facility that houses three full-sized courts. Off-court training takes place in the McDowell Fitness Center, which features contemporary equipment and programming geared for athletic development.

Off-season work includes time at summer camp; several players have attended the nationally recognized “Point Guard College” in the last few years. Players may also participate in individual and small group skill sessions during the year.

Alumni are playing at the NCAA Division I and Division III levels.
