Baseball Knocked Off Twice

A powerful Hun School of Princeton lineup exploded for 23 runs in two games against Mercersburg in a doubleheader varsity baseball sweep of the Blue Storm March 26 in Princeton, NJ.

In the opener, Hun pitcher Ryan DiMaggio limited the Blue Storm to just a single hit (by Caleb Newcomer ’23) in five innings while striking out 11 in an 11-0 victory. Tommy Tereschuk ’22 (1-1) took the loss. The second game featured three hits for the Blue Storm (by Tereschuk, Aiden Lorson ’22, and Danny Adusei-Poku ’23), but no runs in the 12-0 setback. Evan Howley ’22 was the losing pitcher.

Mercersburg (1-2, 0-2 MAPL) visits Episcopal High School Tuesday, March 29, at 4:30 p.m. in Alexandria, VA. The Blue Storm’s home opener is Wednesday, March 30, against St. Maria Goretti (4:30 p.m.).
