Boys Lacrosse
- Mercersburg’s rich tradition of lacrosse spans more than five decades.
- We are committed to winning but understand we do not measure our success by winning alone.
- Our program is built upon the values of passion and poise. We aim to develop players who understand that enthusiasm is contagious, who are committed to learning, and who represent themselves with class on and off the field.
- The alumni body features former captains at Cornell, collegiate All-Americans, and former National High School Coach of the Year Jack Crawford.
- The boys varsity team recently won the 2025 Commonwealth Cup.
- Over the last several years, alumni have played at a number of colleges, including Bowdoin, University of Colorado, Dickinson, Hartwick, College of Holy Cross, Jacksonville, Muhlenberg, Sewanee: The University of the South, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Washington and Lee University.
- The varsity team plays on Steiger Field, a 75-yard x 120-yard natural-grass field that was outfitted with a new irrigation system in 2011. Teams may also train on the synthetic-turf Regents’ Field (re-surfaced in 2024) or the natural-grass Upper Field (both 70 yards x 120 yards).
