Volleyball

• Mercersburg’s history in volleyball dates to 1986, when former faculty member Brent Gift founded the program.
• The pillars of the volleyball program have long been teamwork, unity, and hustle, along with a commitment to the community.
• Competition for the Storm ranges from local contests and weekly rivalries to the rest of the Mid-Atlantic region, including Philadelphia and New Jersey. The team recently finished second at the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Prep League tournament.
• Mercersburg’s volleyball teams train and compete on the Plantz Courts, an expansive 10,000-square-foot hardwood facility that can be set with three volleyball courts. 

Plantz Courts

The boys basketball team plays on the Plantz Courts, a 10,000 square-foot facility, which includes three full-size basketball courts and serves as home to indoor sports, including girls basketball, volleyball, and wrestling.
