The Octet is an audition-only group that includes eight male singers and performs a cappella selections similar to many college groups. The group rehearses about four hours each week and sings for the school community as well as throughout the surrounding area and region. Octet members must also be members of the Mercersburg Chorale, Band, or String Ensemble, and enjoy devoting the extra time required to perfect the music they sing. Richard Rotz directs the Octet.
