Nothing quite substitutes for visiting Mercersburg Academy in person. Seeing really is believing.
When you visit Mercersburg, you’ll have the chance to take a tour of the school with a current student that will last about an hour. If you’re interested in a particular athletic team, performing arts group, or one of our many clubs and organizations, let us know ahead of time and we’ll try to arrange for you to meet with advisers or coaches of specific programs.
Prospective families are asked to schedule their tour several weeks in advance of their desired visit date. Appointments are available on most weekdays during the school year. We encourage families to visit as early in the application process as possible—after August 1 preceding the student’s entry year. Contact the Admission Office to arrange your campus visit.
Mercersburg requires a personal interview as part of the application process. Often this interview follows the campus tour, though it may also be planned for a separate visit. (Please note that interview times are available on weekdays only.) Prospective students meet one-on-one with an admission officer for 30 minutes, and parents will also spend approximately 30 minutes speaking with the same admission officer.
Our admission team also travels across the United States and around the world, and we can make arrangements for an off-campus interview if we are traveling to your area.
