Will Willis, Director of International Programs 
Will became director of international programs in the 2005–2006 school year. Previously, he worked in the alumni and development office, most recently as director of Alumni Annual Giving. He lives in South Cottage, where he and his wife, Betsy, are the dorm deans.
Will came to Mercersburg from Hamilton, Montana, where he served as the executive director for Bitterroot Ecological Awareness Resources, Inc. (BEAR). Will has teaching experience in an international setting. As a Fulbright Scholar, he taught English and American culture as a foreign-language teaching assistant to grades 5 through 12 in Schönebeck, Germany, during the 1996–1997 school year.
Will graduated cum laude with honors in geology from Colgate University with a double major in geology and German. Will enjoys any athletic or outdoor activity, especially running, triathlons, ice hockey, fly fishing, mountain biking, skiing, and backpacking, as well as singing, reading, and woodworking.
Travel Program Committee
The Travel Program Committee meets regularly to discuss all aspects of domestic and international trips for students. They also make decisions on trip approval, who leads them, and what financial aid is available. The Travel Program Committee is chaired by the associate head of school, Debbie Rutherford.
