The Mercersburg Academy Health Center strives to provide the most exceptional health care possible to our students. The Health Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The center has two exam rooms, as well as a 20-bed unit and 1 private room for students who are too ill to return to their dorm rooms. Students may be seen at the health Center by scheduled appointment or on a walk-in basis. A registered nurse is on duty 24 hours a day while school is in session. The school Nurse Practitioner is available to see patients Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:30am until 4:30pm. On Wednesdays the school doctor is available to see patients in the afternoon. If the nurses feel it is necessary, a medical provider is available after hours for consultation. The Health Center medical team also includes athletic trainers who work closely with the Health Center to care for sports-related injuries. The Health Center is also fortunate to include a very experienced counseling staff which is committed to supporting the emotional health and well-being of our students. If a student requires services other that those provided by the school, the Health Center will assit in arranging appointments with outside providers as necessary.

The Health Center is located on the northwest corner of campus behind Nolde Gymnasium.

Additional Health Care
If necessary, additional services are available through the nearby Greencastle Family Practice in nearby Greencastle. Whenever additional diagnostic or treatment procedures are needed, nearby Waynesboro Hospital offers a staff of consultants trained in most health specialties.
