At Mercersburg Academy, boarding school is far from being “boring” school. With more than 20 clubs and organizations, 29 interscholastic teams, Outdoor Education, and the student activities committee, which organizes activities and off-campus trips throughout the school year, there’s never a dull moment on campus.
Mercersburg’s clubs and activities are where this diverse community really comes together in excellence. Stony Batter drama club, Mercersburg’s oldest student group, packs the 600-seat main-stage theater with several stellar performances a year. The student-run Blue Review literary magazine regularly wins awards for design and literary content.
Other campus clubs and activities address social issues, immerse members in diverse cultures, develop athletic prowess, gear students for future careers, or just provide a relaxing and enjoyable break from the rigors of studying.
