The Mercersburg Chapel ministers not only to the spiritual needs of the Academy community, but to its moral and ethical needs as well.

The entire school community meets in the Chapel once a week for the Chapel Speaker Series. This lecture series features student speakers and distinguished guests from a wide range of professions and religious backgrounds to discuss moral and ethical questions.

In addition, the Chapel hosts a variety of public speakers in the Monday Evening Lecture Series. Recent guests have included a sports journalist, a poet, and an American Indian medicine woman.

During weekly worship services and special celebrations, such as Convocation, Alumni Weekend, fall and spring Family Weekends, and Baccalaureate, the extended Mercersburg community enjoys programs enhanced by the music of our own carillon.
