Men's Tennis
tennis facilities in the region. The expansive facilities allow room for players of all calibers to participate in the program. Practice includes pressure tennis drills, coach-fed drills, stroke instruction, tactical instruction, and match-play situations. Coaches emphasize good sportsmanship above all else, and although players are encouraged to improve their strokes, emphasis lies on developing a sound, mental game.
In the past nine seasons, the varsity men’s tennis team has amassed a record of 76-43, producing two Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) championship teams. The team now plays old-rivals, such as Lawrenceville, Peddie, Blair, Hun, and Hill, but in a different, highly competitive Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL), while still matching up with other regional private schools.
