Book Club

Lenfest Library is proud to sponsor book clubs based on student interest. In the past, clubs have included a general fiction club and a science fiction/fantasy club. The clubs meet once a month and each member who attends the meetings receives the book courtesy of the Library. Samples of past selections chosen include The Martian by Andy Weir, The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon, and The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton. Anyone interested can join by signing up at the clubs and organizations meeting held in September or by emailing Ms. Patterson at pattersona@mercersburg.edu

Inter-Library Loan (ILL)

The library is a full member of WorldCat, which is the world’s largest network of libraries with access to over 130 million books and periodicals.  This means that if our library does not own a book or an article, we can usually borrow that book from another library on the network.  It usually takes at least a week for a book to arrive, but can take as long as two.  It is important to plan ahead if you are going to have to use ILL on a research project.  Stop by the circulation desk, or use the Feedback/Request Form to submit an ILL request.
