Mercersburg (7-3) ended its season and Mid-Atlantic Prep League play in convincing fashion, sweeping the Peddie School, 7-0. 

After winning three tightly contested doubles matches, the Storm found its stride in the singles matches. Senior captains Lucia Rowe (#5, 6-1, 6-1), Valerie Garcia (#3, 6-2, 6-1), and Lena Finucane (#2, 6-1, 6-0) led the charge, playing confidently in the final matches of their Mercersburg careers. Nikki Wolny (#1, 6-2, 6-0), Caro Oetzbach (#4, 6-1, 6-1), and Sarah Allen (#6, 6-1, 6-4) were each double winners, in both singles and doubles. 

"This was a great group and a fun season. Everyone played hard every time out," commented coach Mike Sweeney.

Notes: Mercersburg was unbeaten in non-league play, defeating at least four teams that were undefeated when they faced the Blue and White.  All three losses coming in the MAPL. The Hun match was greatly influenced by an injury Wolny that moved everyone up the ladder, while Hill was a hard fought 4-3 match that came down to the final singles set.  Lawrenceville claimed its eighth consecutive league title; the Storm finished fourth.
