The Mercersburg women’s lacrosse program, now in its tenth season, is one that encourages hard work and intensity while also focusing
on team building, skill development, and sportsmanship. We compete in the highly competitive Mid-Atlantic Prep League, which in addition to Mercersburg, consists of Lawrenceville, Hill, Blair, Hun and Peddie. We also face opponents from Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
The program fields a varsity team and a junior varsity team. The teams are chosen based on skill level; the junior varsity program becomes a feeder system for the varsity program.
Our teams are lead by knowledgeable coaches who can take the very best and most experienced player to the next level. Coaches are also focused on developing those athletes who are inexperienced or new to the game of lacrosse. Recent alums have gone on to play for James Madison University, William Smith College, Goucher College, Ohio Wesleyan University, Lynchburg College, Virginia Wesleyan College, St. Lawrence University, and Dickinson College.
