The 2009 Softball team will have to work hard for every run, out and win that they achieve.  The returning unit is young but strong in talent.  It consists of Kate Vary '10 (Mechanicsburg, PA), Leigh Saner '10 (Chestertown, MD), Sara Erlichman '10 (Bedford, PA), Sarah Duda '10 (Latrobe, PA) and Julie Garlick '10(Hagerstown, MD).  Competition both locally and within the MAPL conference will tough, but the team will be up to the challenge. 

After resurrecting the softball team for the 2003-04 school year as a JV program, the team took on a varsity schedule for the 2004-05 year. The success they realized outside the MAPL enabled them to join the league a year earlier than expected. The young team made the transition into the league an easy one and will look to continue their winning ways and improvements in the years to come.
