The Mercersburg Academy Ski Team (MAST) program is designed to provide men and women racers with a means to develop their individual skills to the fullest extent. The varsity team, comprised of eighteen of the school’s best male and female racers, competes in both interscholastic competitions, including such age-old rivals as Blair and Lawrenceville, and six United States Ski Association (USSA) sanctioned races each ski season.

Skiers are encouraged to take advantage of all the training opportunities provided from pre-season dry-land training and workouts in the school’s state-of-the-art fitness center to weekly, on-hill practice at nearby Whitetail Ski Area. Over the past three years, Mercersburg racers have been selected to the Pennsylvania State Team to represent Mercersburg at the USSA Eastern finals.
