Respect and passion for the game of basketball and seriousness about the lessons inherent in the game are at the heart and soul of the continued success of Mercersburg’s basketball program. No less than ten Academy graduates currently compete at the highest levels of Division I college basketball and many more at the finest Division III schools in the nation.

"Every captain we have had at Mercersburg who has been a captain and completed the 4 years in college athletics has been named the captain of the college team they played for:

Adam Chubb----UPenn
Antoine McGee- Colorado (2 years)
Greg Kinsey---- Holy Cross
Jamie Hughes-- Lafayette
Carlos Campos--US Naval Academy JV

We expect more to come on this end as our guys progress towards the completion of their college career. It is the thing we are most excited about and is a reflection on the school as a whole and the type of people who are attracted to Mercersburg." Coach Cubit.
