Mercersburg is proud to have 54 Olympians (and 12 gold medals) as part of its athletic history. But the school's athletic program is not just geared toward superstars--it encourages every student to develop the skills to pursue a life-long interest in sports and fitness. Mercersburg fields 28 varsity interscholastic teams, with 14 more junior varsity teams. Students connect on the field as they do in the classroom, on stage, and in the dormitories, learning the lessons of teamwork and dedication and the rewards of great discipline and good sportsmanship.
