Biography: Matt returns to the Mercersburg community as an English teacher and football and track coach. He comes from Yeungnam University in Korea, where he was an assistant professor of English language and literature. During a sabbatical, Matt crossed the southern United States (from California to the Carolinas) by bicycle, and won the Tour d’Afrique bicycle race/expedition. Matt spent two years with the Peace Corps in South Africa, where he was a school and community resource volunteer. In his first stint at Mercersburg (1998–2003), Matt taught German, coached football and was a dormitory dean. | ||
