Biography:
Franklin, who teaches science and coaches squash and softball came to Mercersburg after working at Saint Mary’s Hall in San Antonio, Texas. Franklin was science department co-chair and the AP Biology teacher at SMH. He has also taught chemistry, genetics, zoology, and human anatomy and physiology.  In addition to teaching, Franklin also serves as an independent consultant; his duties include editing biology textbooks, conducting biology teacher institutes and serving as a table leader and reader of AP Biology exams. Franklin also taught and assisted with a sea turtle research program at Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Kamuela, Hawaii, and led a marine science program at Christchurch School in Christchurch, Virginia.
