Biography: Larry Jones returned to Mercersburg as the School Minister having previously served in the same capacity through the 1980s. He teaches in the History and Religion Departments, works in South Cottage, helps with the Peer Group program and the Community Service Program, and helps out the pole-vaulters on the track team. Larry is an ordained Presbyterian minister, who most recently was pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Marquette, on Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where he was very involved in community and church activities. He served as a commissioner to the Presbyterian General Assembly in 1992 and 2002. Larry is an avid skier, hiker, canoeist, and aficionado of all things Welsh. In 2007, he received the Ammerman Distinguished Teacher award.
